Walkingscapes

Walkingscapes begin with walking as an embodied practice of attention and connection.

The large-scale works are composed from photographs made during extended walks through forests and landscapes.

In the studio, I use these images to create large scale cyanotypes on mulberry paper hand-toned with organic materials gathered along the way such as tree bark, acorns and berries, embedding the environment directly into the work.
